Join Us in Caring for Our Watersheds
Nutrient Enhancement Season is Here!
We’re gearing up for nutrient enhancement season and are looking for volunteers to join us. The work is physical. Volunteers will help toss fish carcasses into waterways, but it’s also rewarding, with opportunities to spend the day in some of the most beautiful river areas in our region.
Details:
-
Shifts: Weekdays only
-
Length: 8 am to 4 pm availability is appreciated
-
When: We are currently recruiting for the months of September and October
-
Where: Hatcheries in Lewis River, Washougal River, Kalama River, and Toutle River
Because hatcheries roll out carcasses quickly, we need to know your availability ahead of time so we can fill shifts as needed. Flexibility is important, and your advance notice helps us make the most of every volunteer day!
Please sign up ONLY if you are interested in volunteering and have weekly availability during September & October.

Volunteers are a vital part of LCFEG’s mission. From nutrient enhancement projects in the fall to native plant potting in the spring, our work simply wouldn’t be possible without the time, energy, and passion of community members like you. Thank you for investing in the future of salmon and the health of our rivers and streams. Sign up at the form below to receive updates on LCFEG volunteer opportunities.
