ABOUT US

The Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit salmon recovery organization founded in 1991. Working within specific watersheds throughout Clark, Skamania, Wahkiakum, and Cowlitz Counties, we successfully leverage public funding through landowner partnerships and collaboration with individuals, groups, corporations, tribes, foundations and agencies.

Base funding for the RFEG program comes from a grant from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program, a portion of state commercial and recreational fishing license fees, and excess egg and carcass sales administered by the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife.

OUR PARTNERS include Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife, Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board, Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office Salmon Recovery Funding Board, Washington Department of Natural Resources, Washington Department of Ecology, National Fish Habitat Partnership, Columbia Springs, Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership, Clark Public Utilities, Cowlitz Indian Tribe, Clark Skamania Flyfishers, Weyerhaeuser, Kalama Sportsman's Club, Hudson's Bay High School, Toutle Lake High School, Camas High School, Cascade Forest Conservancy, Northwest Wild Fish Rescue, Regional Fisheries Coalition, and many private landowners.
